Bail
For many people, this is their first contact with the Justice System. With the right representation, it can feel like little more than an inconvenience, and will soon be a memory.

Domestic Violence
A wide category, domestic violence actually refers to a number of different offence categories—including all manner of assaults and sexual offences—domestic offences are amongst the most difficult for one simple reason: often, there are no witnesses beyond the Accused and the Complainant.
Murder and Assaults
These are amongst the most catastrophic of cases: where people are broken and lives are lost, and they need a professional to help put things back in order. These cases require a deft, careful touch—a touch that is my stock-in-trade.
sex Offences
Arguably the category that invites the strongest condemnation, sex offences go from assaults to dealing in prohibited pornography, and is also arguably one of the few remaining offences that carry an extremely strong moral component, a conviction here typically brings severely life-limiting consequences.
Drugs
From simple possession of a small amount of magic mushrooms to large international trafficking in raw opiates, I am experienced in all aspected of drug law and defences.
Appeals
Both at the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal, I have successfully argued both conviction and sentence appeals, as well as relating pre-appeal motions (such as bail pending appeal).
